accessible, inclusive, and useful for everyone. Our work strengthens teaching,
supports responsible AI, and advances open access to knowledge.

Bridging Science
and Society!

Science education and public
understanding of science must evolve together.

VISION

To create a society where scientific understanding is shared, trusted, and accessible to all.
We imagine classrooms where curiosity thrives, teachers feel supported, and communities
engage with science confidently.

The Story

Founder & Steward
Strategic leader with 25+ years of experience in science education, publishing, and
innovation policy. Former Managing Director, Royal Society of Chemistry (India & South
Asia).

The Story

The SciFront Collective was born from a simple idea — that science education and public understanding of science must evolve together.

Across India, millions of students study science without experiencing its wonder, and thousands of teachers work without structured support or access to open resources. Bridging this gap required more than another project; it needed a movement. Founded by Ajit K. Sharma, former Managing Director of the Royal Society of Chemistry (India & South Asia), the Collective brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, and technologists who believe that scientific literacy is not just a subject — it’s a social foundation. Starting with Curiosity Labs and Teacher Fellowships, the Collective soon grew into a multi-pillar initiative connecting classrooms to communities, and education to evidence-based policy. Today, SciFront functions as both a learning platform and a collaborative ecosystem — enabling teachers, students, and institutions to access open knowledge, responsible technology, and shared purpose. Our story continues through partnerships, fellowships, and youth-led programs that make science accessible, relatable, and real for everyone
